Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst / Accountant to oversee the full accounting cycle while providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights to support business growth. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is equally comfortable managing day-to-day accounting operations and contributing to high-level financial planning and decision-making.
The successful candidate will have strong experience working with US-based companies and modern fintech platforms, including QuickBooks, Ramp, Stripe, and Mercury.
Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly transaction processing and reconciliation.

Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and fintech platforms.

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable recommendations.

Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools.

Assist leadership with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.

Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.

Track revenue, expenses, and profitability across business units.

Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and scenario modeling.

Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and financial controls.

Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and financial reporting.

Manage and reconcile transactions through Ramp, Stripe, and Mercury.

Maintain financial data integrity across multiple systems.

Recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA designation preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.

Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting independently.

Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting experience.

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks.

Experience working with Ramp, Stripe, and Mercury.

Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience supporting US-based companies, startups, or technology businesses.

Familiarity with SaaS, eCommerce, or high-growth business environments.

Experience implementing accounting process improvements and financial controls.

Exposure to FP&A, strategic finance, and executive-level reporting.

Accurate and timely month-end close.
