The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build expertise in U.S. federal taxation and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with U.S. federal and state regulations.
  • Assist in tax research and stay updated on changes in U.S. federal and state tax laws.
  • Support senior tax staff in audits, tax planning, and special projects.
  • Review financial records, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify potential tax issues and recommend solutions or opportunities for savings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, or internal teams to gather necessary tax-related information.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and deliverables in accordance with internal policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in tax, accounting, or auditing (internship or entry-level experience acceptable).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal tax regulations; familiarity with state tax compliance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ProSeries, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with corporate, international, or multi-state tax filings.
  • Familiarity with ERP or financial management systems.
  • Strong interest in continuous learning and professional development in taxation.
