About the Role
~1 min readWe are hiring a talented Video Editor with strong motion graphics skills to support the production of high-quality Learning & Development (L&D) content. This role focuses on creating short-form educational video courses designed to teach practical, real-world skills.
This is not a basic editing role — you will be responsible for visually translating learning concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand content through thoughtful motion design and structured storytelling.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Edit and produce short-form educational videos using provided scripts, storyboards, presenter footage (AI or recorded), and assets
- →Design and animate motion graphics that enhance comprehension and engagement
- →Build clear, step-by-step tutorial sequences demonstrating tools and software
- →Ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines and visual standards
- →Source and integrate stock images and supporting visuals effectively
- →Maintain consistency in layout, spacing, symmetry, and safe zones
- →Track production time per video to support planning and delivery timelines
- →Collaborate asynchronously with the production team and communicate progress proactively
Requirements
~1 min read- Strong motion graphics and animation skills (ability to bring concepts to life visually)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools
- Strong design sensibility (layout, spacing, hierarchy, and visual clarity)
- Experience editing educational, tutorial, or instructional video content
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality output
- Excellent English proficiency (written and comprehension)
- Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable working in a remote environment
- Portfolio showcasing motion graphics, tutorial, or educational video work
- Brief explanation of your editing process from brief to final delivery
- Short note on what quality means in your work
Nice to Have

- Familiarity with stock image/video platforms
- Experience working with structured production workflows
- Operate with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Translate written scripts and learning objectives into effective visual storytelling
- Deliver polished, accurate work with strong attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and proactively in a remote, async environment
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Must have reliable overlap with 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time
- Overtime available as needed
- Occasional company travel (fully covered)
