Utah Paramedic license
Must have at least one year of verifiable, full-time firefighting experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification
CPR certification for healthcare providers
Utah Firefighter II and Hazardous Materials Operations certifications or ability to obtain
Must meet department physical ability standards

Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, fire suppression tactics, and rescue operations
Proficient in the use of firefighting and EMS equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to make sound decisions in high-stress situations
Comfortable working in all weather conditions and high-risk environments

Exposure to hazardous conditions including fire, smoke, extreme temperatures, and traumatic incidents.
Requires physical strength, endurance, and mental resilience.
Work schedule includes rotating 48-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and possible emergency call-outs.
