Hardware Reliability Technician, Root Cause (Starlink)

As a Hardware Reliability Technician on the Starlink team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of Starlink user terminals and gateways through manufacturing, test, and installation.

• →Communicate and resolve quality issues impacting Starlink products in a timely and effective manner 
• →Document production non-conformances accurately and in accordance with established procedures 
• →Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality management system policies and procedures 
• →Participate in root cause investigations on Starlink products to identify and eliminate sources of defects 
• →Perform field return triage and conduct root cause analysis on returned hardware 
• →Execute PCB solder rework and X-ray inspections to support root cause analysis and MRB disposition 
• →Support production teams during critical containment actions and quality alerts 
• →Assess production processes for compliance with company standards and applicable industry requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of experience working in a production, mechanical, or manufacturing environment

• 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience performing root cause analysis on electrical systems and PCBAs with expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues related to solder joint quality, component failures, and manufacturing/assembly defects
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
• Experience working with root cause/corrective action systems
• Self-motivated, proactive, and experience managing multiple priorities and tasks
• Practical experience working within quality management systems (ISO 9001)

• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends, as needed
• Must be willing to work the following shift:
  • 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm)
  • A Shift (5:00am - 5:00pm, Sun - Wed)
  • B Shift (5:00am - 5:00pm, Wed - Sat)
  • C Shift (5:00pm - 5:00am, Sun - Wed)
  • D Shift (5:00pm - 5:00am, Wed - Sat)
• Schedule may vary depending on site operational needs and flexibility is required regarding overtime and weekend support
• Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be willing to work onsite in Bastrop, TX – remote work not considered
