Bank Healthcare Assistant

Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, you will contribute to the delivery of a high‑quality, comprehensive nursing service, ensuring every patient receives safe and compassionate care.

• →Supporting the nursing team to provide exemplary patient care
• →Carrying out routine tasks that promote patient health and wellbeing
• →Taking and recording accurate clinical observations
• →Assisting with ECGs, phlebotomy and basic nursing care
• →Monitoring patients and reporting any changes to the appropriate clinician
• →Assisting with the safe movement of patients in line with hospital policies
• →Providing administrative support when needed, such as updating patient records and supporting departmental documentation
• →Ensuring all admin tasks are completed accurately using hospital systems
• →Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control and patient dignity
• →Undertaking any other reasonable duties aligned with the role

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

• Previous experience as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
• NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
• Confidence in performing clinical tasks such as observations, ECGs and phlebotomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, including confident use of Word and Excel
• Ability to support administrative tasks when required
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems; knowledge of SAP is essential
