Healthcare Assistant - OPD

• →Support the nursing team within the Outpatient Department
• →Undertake clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse and ECGs
• →Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection
• →Prepare patients for consultations and treatments
• →Ensure clinics run efficiently and provide excellent patient care throughout the patient journey
• →Maintain accurate patient records and support day-to-day department administration

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant within a clinical setting
• Experience within Outpatients, Pre-Assessment or a surgical environment is desirable
• Competent in clinical observations and ECGs
• Good IT skills
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including occasional Saturdays

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate
• Phlebotomy trained, including experience with both adult and paediatric patients
