Spreetail is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Assistant Merchant to help keep our merchandising operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll work closely with merchants and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day priorities, support key deliverables, and solve issues before they become roadblocks. Provide administrative and operational support to the merchandising team, including maintaining calendars, coordinating meetings, managing meeting notes, and tracking follow-ups.
Develop and maintain internal communications and presentations to ensure key updates, priorities, and action items are clearly communicated.
Utilize merchandising systems and tools to complete daily tasks, maintain accurate information, and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Collaborate with merchants and cross-functional support teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Take ownership of ad hoc and time-sensitive requests, prioritizing tasks based on business needs and ensuring timely execution.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience in merchandising, retail, ecommerce, or a similar fast-paced environment, with knowledge of retail item data, shipment tracking, or basic accounting practices.
Ability to stay focused on goals, manage multiple priorities, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.
Strong communication and learning agility, with the ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and quickly learn new systems and processes.
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
