Responsibilities

  • →Lead and support the monthly P&L and financial forecasting process for the assigned business line, ensuring accurate, timely and actionable financial information.
  • →Prepare, review and analyze financial reports, identifying trends, variances, risks and opportunities and communicating findings to Finance and business leadership.
  • →Support the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring financial information is complete, accurate and delivered within established timelines.
  • →Provide financial analysis related to customer contracts, revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
  • →Analyze financial and operational variances and work with appropriate stakeholders to understand root causes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • →Partner with Operations, Sales and other business stakeholders to support financial planning, forecasting and business decision-making.
  • →Develop and maintain financial reporting, dashboards and analytical tools that provide meaningful visibility into business performance.
  • →Support the development and implementation of standardized financial processes, controls, reporting methodologies and tools.
  • →Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, increase efficiency and reduce manual activities.
  • →Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls, reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
  • →Maintain a strong understanding of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and related finance processes.
  • →Lead financial meetings, projects and process-improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • →Serve as a key Finance resource for financial analysis, reporting, business insights and special projects.
  • →Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial, employee, customer and business information.
  • →Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Approximately 5–7+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial controlling or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 10–12 years of progressive finance experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated progression through roles of increasing responsibility, ideally including experience progressing from financial analysis or accounting into controllership responsibilities.
  • Strong experience with financial reporting, month-end close, P&L analysis, forecasting and financial controls.
  • Experience analyzing financial performance, including revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial processes, projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prior leadership, mentoring or team-lead experience preferred; extensive people-management experience is not required.
  • Experience in a multi-client, multi-location or business services environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience developing financial reports, dashboards and analytical tools preferred.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
  • Ability to identify financial risks, analyze complex data and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand the operational factors that influence financial performance.

Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per workday, with periodic movement and breaks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout an office environment as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull office materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity required for frequent keyboarding, data entry, document review, and operation of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through virtual platforms.
  • Ability to visually review detailed financial information, spreadsheets, reports, and documents for extended periods.
  • Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to travel periodically and work across multiple time zones as required by business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced business environment.

 

Travel: Minimal business travel is associated with this role, less than 10%.
