Make an Impact in HIV Prevention Across Maine
We are seeking a mission-driven PrEP Navigator to support statewide HIV prevention efforts. In this role, you will help connect individuals to PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) services, improve access to care, and contribute to public health outcomes across Maine.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support PrEP/PEP navigation services for clients statewide
Conduct outreach, education, and awareness activities to increase PrEP utilization
Provide HIV counseling, testing, and referrals to treatment and support services
Assist clients with insurance navigation and patient assistance programs
Maintain and manage case tracking databases to monitor client outcomes
Follow up with clients every 2 months to ensure continuity of care
Collaborate with providers, FQHCs, pharmacies, and community organizations
Prepare reports and share data insights with state and federal partners
Support outbreak response, surveillance efforts, and program planning
Participate in public health meetings, training sessions, and community initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Behavioral Sciences, or related field
2+ years of experience in community health, public health programs, or health education(Relevant experience may substitute for education)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of HIV, STDs, viral hepatitis, and harm reduction strategies
Experience with data collection, reporting, and program evaluation
Familiarity with public health policies (federal/state/local)
Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Work Environment & Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Hybrid role: 2–3 days remote based on program needs
Occasional schedule flexibility required
Must follow State of Maine working schedule and holidays
Additional hours may be approved as needed
