Laborer/Shift Engineer

*Key Responsibilities: *

1. *Maintenance and Repairs: *

- Assist with maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work

- Perform general cleaning and upkeep of facilities and grounds

2. *Groundskeeping: *

- Maintain the resort's grounds, including landscaping, pressure washing, gardening, and trash removal

- Ensure the grounds are clean, tidy, and well-manicured

3. *Event Support: *

- Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving furniture and equipment

- Provide general support to event staff as needed

4. *Other Tasks: *

- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Director of Engineering, Engineering Supervisor or Facilities Manager

- Participate in projects to improve the resort's facilities and grounds

*Requirements: *

1. *Physical Ability: * Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment

2. *Reliability: * Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential

3. *Teamwork: * Ability to work effectively as part of a team

4. *Basic Skills: * Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work would be an asset

4. *Having a drivers permit will be an asset

1. *Work Environment: * Outdoor and indoor environments, including construction sites, gardens, and facilities

2. *Physical Demands: * Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy objects
