Network Engineer (ID: 3086)

As a Network Engineer, you will: Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, including Ethernet switches, server racks, cabling, and network monitoring tools. Provide Tier 1 to Tier 3 IT support services for network and infrastructure-related issues. Use tools such as Cablesolve and PatchManager for accurate configuration and compliance management. Ensure all tasks are conducted in strict accordance with NATO security directives and internal procedures. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like WhatsUpGold. Handle service desk support tasks and respond to IT tickets promptly and effectively. Maintain and upgrade assigned network infrastructure and related documentation. What You Bring to the Table: Minimum 5 years of proven experience working as a Network Engineer. CISCO CCNP or JNCIP certification (mandatory). COMPTIA Security+ certification or equivalent. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Windows OS 10/11 system administration (min. 2 years). Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUpGold) – min. 2 years. Advanced experience with iSCSI configuration – min. 2 years. Advanced experience managing CISCO WiFi environments – min. 3 years. Experience with CAT5 and fibre cabling – min. 4 years. Experience using PatchManager or similar infrastructure management software – min. 1 year. Experience managing power distribution in server racks – min. 3 years. Experience racking IT equipment – min. 3 years. You should possess the ability to: Work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Collaborate effectively with various departments in a team-oriented environment. Communicate technical information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Produce technical configuration documentation with attention to detail. Stay composed and solution-focused under pressure. Quickly analyze problems and determine effective resolutions.
