Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.

As the Director of Product Operatins, your role will be to run the operating system for the product team. You will set cadence, drive cross-functional execution across engineering, product, design, and 24/7 operations, and own onboarding for a growing team during the most consequential six months of the Be The People launch.
  • Establish and run the team's operating rhythm, including planning, prioritization, status, and weekly leadership reviews.

  • Own onboarding for new hires across the Digital Ecosystem, including the second engineering team and operational roles.

  • Develop the communication and knowledge resources that keep the team, partners, and stakeholders informed and aligned as the platform evolves.

  • Manage the interface between internal staff, the staff augmentation engineering partner, and Work & Co.

  • Track program-level commitments, dependencies, and risks; surface and unblock decisions.

  • Stand up the data, tooling, and reporting that give leadership a clear read on platform health and team capacity.

  • Partner with the interim Director of Engineering on knowledge transfer planning and milestones.

  • Eight or more years of operating experience in product, engineering, or program leadership, including chief of staff or director-level operations roles.

  • Track record of running operating cadence for a multi-team product organization.

  • Strength in onboarding, knowledge management, and turning tribal knowledge into durable process.

  • Comfort working across vendor, contractor, and full-time staff structures.

  • Strong written communication and a bias for clarity in writing decisions, status, and risk.

  • Background in a startup, early-stage, or entrepreneurial environment.

  • Track record of using AI-enabled tools and practices to accelerate your work.

  • Enthusiasm for Stand Together's mission and principle-based approach.

  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.
