Clinical Supervisor (SUD)

• →Provide board-approved clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians through weekly individual and group supervision, in compliance with all applicable NC board requirements.
• →Manage clinician caseloads and ensure behavioral health staff adherence to treatment plans.
• →Collaborate with the Medical Director, Peer Supervisor, and Facility Administrator or Operations Director to align clinical care and operational goals.
• →Maintain all required supervision documentation, contracts, and reporting per NC board standards.

• Provide individual and group therapy for patients with substance use disorders, in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic, destigmatizing approach to care.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — to support recovery.
• Collaborate with clinic-level team members, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, to ensure integrated treatment.
• Support patients in crisis intervention and coordinate higher levels of care when needed.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Pioneer innovative approaches to improving access and care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
• Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and resources supporting sustained recovery.

• Active, independent North Carolina clinical licensure with a board-recognized supervisory credential, as detailed above (LCSW + 2 yrs post-licensure / LCMHCS / LMFT-S ).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
• LCAS or dual credentialing (mental health + addiction license) preferred.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and commitment to continuous learning.

• Ability to sit and move between patient sessions, meetings, and clinical documentation work throughout the day.
• Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation and materials.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency or crisis situations, including patients in distress.
• Sufficient visual and auditory ability to assess patient needs, review documentation, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Work may involve exposure to high-stress situations requiring emotional resilience, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills.
• Schedules reflect current anticipated needs and may evolve as the organization grows; some flexibility may be required over time.
