Licensed Clinical Therapist (SUD)

• →Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos. 
• →Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach to patient care.   
• →Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery. 
• →Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches. 
• →Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary. 
• →Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines. 
• →Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations. 
• →Champion the company’s mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities. 
• →Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.   
• →Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in SUD treatment.  

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, etc.), including clinicians currently obtaining supervised hours toward independent licensure, in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders. 
• Certification in addiction counseling is a plus. 
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus. 
• Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.    
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.   
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Schedule: This role follows the anticipated schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p CST. Please note that this schedule may evolve based on organizational needs, and flexibility may be required as Steadfast Health continues to grow. 

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions, meetings, and daily work activities.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation and materials.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials (e.g., patient files, training supplies) weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations, including providing assistance to patients in distress or crisis situations.
• Sufficient visual and auditory abilities to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to navigate clinic spaces, including patient rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Work may involve exposure to high-stress situations requiring emotional resilience, professionalism, and effective de-escalation skills.
