SteerBridge Strategies is a modern technology company delivering innovative, mission‑focused solutions to the U.S. Government and private sector. Leveraging deep expertise in federal acquisition, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, we deliver agile, commercial‑grade capabilities that accelerate operational effectiveness and drive measurable mission success.
At the core of SteerBridge is our people—especially the veterans whose leadership, problem‑solving mindset, and commitment to excellence elevate every project we support. We don’t simply hire exceptional talent; we cultivate it, creating meaningful career pathways for veterans, military spouses, and professionals who share our passion for advancing technology and strengthening the missions we serve.

The Engineering Deployment Site Practitioner will support the full lifecycle of a Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation across multiple medical centers.

The Practitioner is responsible for performing/organizing discovery efforts at various hospitals & clinics (i.e. sites) related to End User Devices (EUDs), interfaced systems, & Data Drops & Power Outlets (DDPO) and will then perform post discovery analysis to inform technical scope and requirements.  Building an understanding of the client's list of standard capabilities, devices, and interfaces is essential to perform meaningful discovery and gap analysis. Strong written and oral communication skills are required, as is a proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

Throughout the remainder of the deployment lifecycle, the Practitioner will  support device procurement tracking & logistics, own relationships with local site IT leaders and other technology / network / engineering groups, and overall support the technical readiness of a transition to a new EHR.  This may involve external vendor management/coordination, cutover planning & support, project management of engineering activities.

Semi-frequent travel expected to hospitals and clinics in various geographies. Significant client interaction is expected. Previous hospital/clinic assessment experience, familiarity with system interfaces & medical device interfaces, previous Oracle EHR (or similar vendors) is preferred.
