StepChange Consulting is expanding into Iberia with a new office in Lisbon, and we’re hiring exceptional talent with experience from top-tier strategy and management consulting firms to join our international team.

We are a specialist consultancy working with leading clients across Europe, North America, and Latin America in the forestry, pulp, paper, and packaging sectors. Unlike generalist firms, we combine boardroom-level strategy with hands-on operational execution – delivering measurable top- and bottom-line results.

Collaborate directly with C-level and senior executives on international projects
Develop strategies to tackle industry challenges
Participate or lead projects across Europe and beyond
Contribute to business development and grow our Operations in Iberia and beyond
Represent StepChange at global conferences and industry platforms

Requirements

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong academic and professional track record
Experience with industrial/manufacturing clients is a plus
Willingness to travel and connect with clients anywhere and anytime
Strong functional expertise from strategy to execution in areas such as:
Sales & supply chain
Manufacturing & maintenance
Restructuring & organisational design
Procurement (strategy & execution)
Market & operational due diligence
Energy strategy
Business-driven digital transformation
Fluent in English; additional languages welcome
Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to progress to partner level
High emotional intelligence and leadership skills
