The High Value Data (“HVD”) team Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level member of the HVD team. The Senior Analyst performs core data operations with a high degree of independence while beginning to take on expanded scope responsibilities, team leadership contributions, and limited supervisory duties. The Senior Analyst works closely with DARO Leadership, the SPAR Client Services Team, Accounting, Analytics, and Investor Relations to support the private markets data universe and client deliverables. Performance will be evaluated on both an absolute basis against the responsibilities below and on a relative scale compared to peers at the same level.
- The SPAR DM HVD Senior Analyst possesses a proven operational ownership mindset and acts with top-level professionalism across all assigned and unassigned HVD activities. The HVD team focuses on portfolio company / asset level data and reporting into proprietary internal reporting systems. The Senior Analyst is expected to demonstrate increasing levels of technical skills and operational awareness, a growing level of strategic awareness and participation, and highly impactful effectiveness that maintains the goals and targets of DARO operations.
- Will lead and improve the daily HVD ingestion and review of asset-level reporting information from GP-provided reporting into internal reporting systems. The Senior Analyst will master the quarterly reporting cycles associated with GP reporting and asset-level reporting.
- Drives the collection, processing, and quality control of Company-level operating metrics: coordinates with GPs to obtain, clarify, and validate metric data; ensures operating metrics are accurately entered and reconciled within internal reporting systems on a timely basis.
- Leverages AI extraction tools and scalable processing techniques to maximize both the quality and volume of total operating metrics collected; continuously evaluates and improves extraction workflows to expand data coverage across the private markets portfolio.
- Completes daily assigned work supporting team-wide goals — including entry/extraction from General Partner provided materials — and consistently meets or exceeds team quality and quantity expectations.
- Processes data from private markets general partners, including entry, review (where applicable), and reconciliation of schedule of investments, financial statements, and operating metrics.
- Maintains quality standards and prioritizes tasks to ensure all deadlines are met; escalates concerns proactively to Functional Team Captains and client teams. Upholds the team-wide quality control target of 96%+ accuracy.
- Identifies areas of concern due to insufficient or inaccurate data and escalates to appropriate Functional Team Captains and client teams.
- Follows DARO protocols to contact GPs as necessary to clarify unclear data and request supplemental information; professional standards must be maintained at all times.
- Develops and deepens cumulative Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities across all Fundamental Core responsibilities; qualifies for and pursues Expanded Scope Opportunities.
- Demonstrates an ownership mindset and acts with professionalism across all assigned and unassigned HVD, Client Service, and department activities.
- Volunteers to assist with specific team needs and serve as part of the daily operational leadership staff.
- May provide daily guidance and instruction to Junior Analysts or Analysts.
- Contributes to team continuity and building; serves as a resource and informal mentor for less experienced team members.

- Proactive, timely 360-degree communication is required.

- Intermediate fluency with Microsoft Excel (including Power Query Editor) required.
- Working knowledge of DAX and Power BI required; intermediate-level proficiency preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AI models, prompts, workflow orchestration a plus
- Experience with private markets data systems and internal reporting tools a plus.
Requirements

- Significant experience with Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of financial accounting.

Salary: $80,000
