About the Role

As an Software Engineer II (Backend), you’ll build 0-to-1 features for our AI-powered chatbot, creating step-by-step experiences that help customers resolve issues directly in chat using OpenAI and Claude. You’ll own a key part of the customer journey; handling orders, ticket substitutions, and refunds, impacting millions of users worldwide.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY

Develop agentic AI that takes action on behalf of users, resolving issues faster and smarter.
Collaborate across Product and Data teams to launch innovative features that redefine the live event experience.
Own end-to-end features from system design through production rollout and operational excellence

Responsibilities

→Software Engineer with around 2 - 3.5 years of experience building production software, with a strong emphasis on backend development with at least one backend programming language (Java, Python, Golang)
→Experience owning services in production (monitoring, debugging, reliability)
→Solid understanding of APIs, service architecture, and data modeling
→Experience designing and operating scalable distributed systems
→Exposure to AI or Agentic Systems - familiarity with integrating AI-powered services, automation, or agent-like workflows, or strong interest in learning and applying these patterns.
