About the Role
Black River makes high-quality accessories for trucks, UTVs, and outdoor enthusiasts. We are looking for a creative, experienced, and self-starting Social Media & Growth Manager to help grow the Black River brand through content, social media, paid advertising, customer engagement, and dealer support.
This role combines social media management, content creation, videography, digital marketing, and business development. The right person will know how to create content that gets attention, builds trust, supports sales, and moves people closer to becoming customers or dealers.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to post content. We are looking for someone who understands that content should help grow the business.
For Black River, this role will be focused on generating:
- Retail sales of MATRIX toppers
- Dealer inquiries
- Website traffic
- Brand awareness
- Customer trust
- Social media growth
- More visibility for Black River products

The goal of this role is not just to grow likes, comments, or followers. The goal is to grow the business.
This person helps shape how Black River shows up online, in the market, and with customers. They are responsible for creating content that tells the Black River story, builds trust, educates customers, supports the sales process, and drives action.
A candidate who can show they helped grow an account, generate measurable sales from content, or create campaigns that drove leads and revenue will stand out.
Core Responsibilities
Content Strategy, Social Media & Growth
- Develop and execute a content strategy that supports brand awareness, website traffic, dealer interest, and product sales
- Own and manage Black River’s social media presence across all platforms
- Create, capture, edit, and publish photo and video content that tells the Black River story
- Produce content that educates customers, highlights product benefits, answers common questions, and supports the buying process
- Manage the social media content calendar and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style
- Turn customer stories, dealer activity, product use cases, installations, events, and behind-the-scenes moments into strong content
- Track performance and use insights to improve reach, engagement, website traffic, leads, and revenue opportunities
Paid Advertising & Performance Tracking
- Help create and manage paid social campaigns that support awareness, traffic, leads, and sales
- Work with the Marketing Director to test boosted posts, paid social ads, and campaign ideas
- Track performance across social platforms, paid campaigns, website traffic, lead sources, and revenue when possible
- Report on key growth metrics and recommend adjustments based on data
Sales, Dealers & Customer Growth
- Work with the sales team and dealers to identify content opportunities, product education needs, and customer questions
- Help generate dealer inquiries through content, outreach support, and lead-focused campaigns
- Support dealer relationships by creating content they can share or use to promote Black River products
- Help gather testimonials, reviews, customer photos, and success stories for marketing
- Use customer questions and sales feedback to create better content that supports the buying journey
Customer Experience, Influencers & Events
- Help manage customer communication through Black River’s online channels
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to help ensure a strong experience
- Support influencer and brand ambassador initiatives
- Help identify creators, partners, dealers, and customer advocates who align with the Black River brand
- Assist with trade shows, pop-ups, dealer events, and brand activations
- Capture photo and video content at events for ongoing marketing use
Required Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing social media, content, or growth marketing for a brand, business, creator, or organization
- Proven experience creating content that supports business goals such as sales, leads, website traffic, customer trust, or brand growth
- Experience developing and executing a content strategy across multiple platforms
- Experience creating, capturing, editing, and publishing photo and video content
- Experience growing social media accounts through content strategy, consistency, community engagement, and performance analysis
- Experience running or supporting paid social advertising campaigns
- Ability to analyze performance data and explain what worked, what did not, and what should be improved
- A portfolio of past social media, video, campaign, or growth work
- Experience juggling multiple campaigns, content deadlines, communication channels, and growth initiatives at once

Data-Driven: Able to analyze social performance, website traffic, lead sources, and campaign results to improve future content and strategy.
Sales-Aware: Understands how content can support retail sales, dealer inquiries, customer education, and the buying journey.
Organized & Self-Starting: Manages multiple projects with ease, follows through, and keeps content, communication, and deadlines on track.
Customer-Focused: Delivers a strong experience across online conversations, in-person interactions, dealer communication, and post-purchase follow-ups.
Collaborative & Independent: Works well with leadership, sales, dealers, customers, and creative partners while also being able to take ownership and move projects forward independently.
Tech-Proficient: Comfortable using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, scheduling platforms, analytics tools, Meta Ads Manager, and basic photo/video editing software.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has already managed and grown social media accounts for a brand or business and can show real examples of their work.
We are looking for someone who can create strong content, understand performance data, support sales and dealer growth, and help Black River become more visible in the truck, UTV, and outdoor markets.
A strong candidate will be able to show examples of content that performed well, accounts they helped grow, campaigns they contributed to, and ways their work created measurable business impact.
