- Counsel associates and managers on policies, procedures, and performance management

- Plan and conduct new associate orientation to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives
- Able to travel to locations outside of OH for training and meetings
- Execute Performance Management process and ensure all associates have goals and receive annual reviews
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Keep abreast of US employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance to mitigate risk
- Effectively build relationships with key business unit leaders to provide direction and promote consistent business practices
- Ability to recommend new approaches for continual improvements
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate and support decisions, both in written and oral formats
- Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be able to travel 10%
Education: 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business or Psychology
Experience: 5+ years in HR Generalist capacity (employee relations, benefits, payroll, full cycle recruiting). Experience with UKG preferred. Strong experience with Microsoft Office Products to prepare reports and employee communications. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and have a strong team approach with all levels of management and associates throughout the organization.
