Bindery Operator

We are seeking an experienced Bindery Assistant to support production in a fast-paced printing and manufacturing environment. This role involves operating bindery equipment, maintaining workflow, and ensuring quality standards are met across production and fulfillment processes.

• → Read and interpret work orders/job tickets for setup and production instructions
• → Operate and maintain bindery equipment, including:
  • → Cutter machines (Polar, Seybold)
  • → MBO Folder machines
  • → Shrink-wrap equipment
  • → Inserter machines
• → Perform machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
• → Follow startup, cleaning, and shutdown procedures
• → Maintain workflow to meet production deadlines
• → Track and report daily production and material usage
• → Communicate equipment or order issues to leadership
• → Support related departments including personalization, fulfillment, and shipping
• → Follow all quality control (QC) and safety procedures

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of bindery or print production experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude (testing may be required)
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Intermediate math skills
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management
• Ability to pass a color vision test
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
