Surge Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Admin with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable serving as a point of contact for employees and leaders.
The compensation range for this position is $25.00–$27.00 per hour. The hours will be Monday-Friday 10am-7pm.
Responsibilities

- →Serve as a point of contact for employees and leaders
- →Respond to employee questions by phone, email, and in person
- →Assist with new hire onboarding and paperwork
- →Send new hire onboarding packets
- →Process and monitor drug tests and background checks
- →Review and scan completed process checklists
- →Assist with benefits administration
- →Assist with weekly payroll for permanent employees
- →Support employee relations processes
- →Prepare and send termination letters
- →Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- →Track daily attendance and identify trends
- →Assist with compliance tracking and reporting
- →Coordinate employee training and HR activities
- →Manage team calendar, birthdays, anniversaries, and PTO
- →Provide receptionist coverage during breaks
- →Maintain organized HR files and documentation
- →Provide exceptional customer service to employees and leaders
- →Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations
Requirements

- At least 1 year of customer service or relevant business experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficient computer and telephone skills
- Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
- Cooperative and team-oriented
- Calm under pressure and able to work independently
