Purchasing Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to support procurement operations within the petroleum equipment industry. This role will manage vendor relationships, coordinate material deliveries, verify purchases, and maintain accurate inventory and safety/environmental records.

• →Manage vendor relationships and evaluate pricing, quality, and material availability
• →Coordinate delivery schedules and resolve shipping issues
• →Verify materials and purchases upon delivery
• →Review and authorize invoices while maintaining accurate records
• →Manage inventory levels and related documentation
• →Collaborate with Safety and EHS personnel to maintain required records
• →Support day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities

• Purchasing, procurement, inventory, or related industry experience preferred
• Petroleum equipment or industrial purchasing experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• ERP experience preferred
