Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a global leader that has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Mechanical Bill-of-Materials Reviewer, to support our client's Design Tool Infrastructure Team.   

This is a full-time (W-2) contract role based in Santa Clara, CA . We offer competitive pay $55/hr - $65/hr  based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

You will be supporting the team that develops the Design Tool Infrastructure for all of NVIDIA's system product designs. The system products cover a diverse array of applications from supercomputers to autonomous vehicles to consumer video gaming platforms!

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Match the bill-of-materials of NVIDIA's datacenter system products to their associated mechanical CAD files.
  • Working with mechanical designers to ensure correctness of the bill-of-materials to CAD association.
  • Working with our SimReady digital twin team to provide the CAD for conversion into digital twins.

 

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE

  • BSEE/CS/Diploma, 3+ years of work experience
  • Understanding of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Ability to use CAD software to view mechanical designs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and the ability to learn complex concepts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to support and provide timely, creative solutions for NVIDIA system designers.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate effective team work with members of different world-wide design locations.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the hardware product development lifecycle (PDLC), from conceptual design to mass production operations.
  • Strong technical background in implementing or customizing enterprise-level engineering tools (e.g., Dassault, Cadence, PTC, or similar)

 

WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD:

  • Previous experience with PTC Creo CAD software.
  • Knowledge/experience with PLM systems.
  • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate across departments and time zones.
