Microsoft Database Administrators

Frontex – the European Border and Coast Guard Agency – is looking for Microsoft Database Administrators to support and maintain its enterprise database infrastructure and data platform services.

The project focuses on the administration, monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft SQL-based database environments supporting Frontex operational and corporate systems. The assignment includes management of high-availability database infrastructures, performance optimization, disaster recovery strategies, ETL processes, and Microsoft data platform technologies deployed in distributed enterprise environments.

The environment includes Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies, Microsoft Fabric services, cloud-based data solutions, virtualization infrastructures, and ITIL-driven operational processes. Consultants will contribute to database stability, scalability, security, and operational continuity while ensuring efficient incident management and support activities.

The service is delivered in a hybrid model combining on-site presence at the Frontex Headquarters with remote service provision. The assignment requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent troubleshooting skills, autonomy, and the ability to work within security-sensitive and fast-evolving technical environments.
