- Provide oversight support, in coordination with the Technology Organization & Functional Engineering Directors, on engineering policies and processes with a focus on efficiency and quality, not bureaucracy.
- Tools Implementation and Management:
- Lead the Functional Engineering Directors to identify and implement the tools needed to execute and grow Trusted Space.
- In coordination with the Functional Engineering Directors, establish approved and recommend programming languages, integrated development environments, requirements management, orbit analyses, Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, etc.
- United States citizenship required.
- Proven management-experience driving growth of engineering teams in coordination with cross-functional business areas.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a track record of working with operations, hiring managers, and Executive teams.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing a scalable growth organization including people (hiring, mentorship, training, skill sets), processes (technical Command Media, engineering best practices), and tools (programming languages, MBSE tools, orbit analysis tools, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong familiarity with autonomy, AI/ML, space domain awareness, space control, C2/battlespace management, image processing, or related mission technologies.
- Experienced engaging with external contract-to-hire and recruitment system agencies.
- Experienced contributing to or leading mergers and acquisitions initiatives.
- Experienced with C-Suite level communications.
- Active or ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.
