Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Imaging Scientist with a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years of combined experience. This position is primarily remote but will require the willingness to travel to Chantilly, VA for occasional onsite support.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and testing of imagery simulation software and custom image processing software.
Development of sensor performance modeling and simulation capabilities.
Performing analysis of different sensors leveraging modeling and simulation capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering
8+ years’ experience developing software in the Python programming language, image processing, and sensor performance modeling.
An active Top Secret clearance with SCI

Desired Skills

Master’s or PhD degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering
Experience developing image processing for astronomy and/or spacecraft detection
Experience in modeling and simulating imagery with spacecraft
Experience in CUDA Programming and opensource libraries leveraging GPUs

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
