We are looking for a talented Curation Scientist to join one of our top biotechnology partners. The ideal candidate will have a PhD, a strong understanding of cancer pathways, and proficiency in data analysis. This position is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI.

CURATION SCIENTIST REQUIREMENTS

PhD in Oncology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or Molecular Genomics
Strong understanding of cancer pathways in various types of cancers
Proficiency in data analysis
Hands-on experience with NGS (bonus skill)
Regulated product development on genetic counseling (bonus skill)
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and organization skills

CURATION SCIENTIST RESPONSIBILITIES

A key responsibility will be reading extensive literature and curating the relevant data.
The individual will be responsible for bringing data in-house and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
They will curate all relevant data and integrate it into Thermo’s internal system.
The position includes focusing on genetic markers in cancer and their role in driving cancer progression.
This work will involve analyzing data associated with therapeutics.
The individual will collaborate closely with the internal team and be actively involved in ongoing projects.
The person in this position will work closely with software engineers and bioinformatics scientists.
