We are looking for an experienced Credentialing Associate to join our team. The Credentialing Associate is responsible for the credentialing, re-credentialing, licensing, and auditing of the Network and Support team at Talkspace. This includes performing administrative tasks such as processing, completing, and inputting key information, coordinating and corresponding with the Credentialing Verification Organization and the providers, and assisting with the reporting and auditing functions. The Credentialing Associate works closely to support and assist the Credentialing Manager in any projects and administrative functions as needed. To work at Talkspace, you need to be as passionate as we are about our work, and excited to partner with us on delivering quality mental healthcare.

This is a remote position based on Eastern Time. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC.

What You’ll Do

  •  Credentialing
    • Perform all daily credentialing functions, such as processing completed provider files, and inputting provider approval dates.
    • Management of all provider Fountain credentialing processes.
    • Coordinate with the Credentialing Verification Organization to ensure timely completion, downloading, and uploading of files as well as updating the system to reflect decisions.
    • Correspond with providers for missing data elements such as NPI numbers and/or CAQH profile information.
    • Ensuring accurate storage record of provider files.
  • Recredentialing
    • Ensure timely re-credentialing of the credentialed provider network.
    • Coordinate with the Credentialing Verification Organization toensure timely completion of re-credentialing review for each clinician.
  • Licensing
    • Review of credentialed licenses to ensure accuracy of credentialed information.
  • Auditing
    • Quarterly internal audits to ensure efficiency and accuracy within the Credentialing Program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

About You 

  • 1+ year(s) of professional work experience in a highly communicative role required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and/or of similar applications.
  • Credentialing experience is highly preferred.

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The hourly rate for this role is $20-24/hr. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
