RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and supervisors, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
Support full-cycle recruitment for seasonal and year-round roles, including job postings, onboarding, and orientation.
Administer HR programs including benefits, leave management, and employee housing coordination.
Assist individuals applying for employment; respond to unsolicited and solicited application informing applicant of available openings, status of recruitment, and housing.
Answer and route incoming HR phone calls, providing timely and professional assistance or directing inquiries to appropriate departments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state (Idaho), and local employment laws and company policies.
Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee concerns or disciplinary actions.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
Support training initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture across departments.
Provide on-site HR coverage during weekends and peak operational periods.
QUALIFICATIONS
2–4 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role; hospitality or resort experience preferred.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends, occasional evenings, and any additional resort events as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role operates in a fast-paced ski resort setting with a mix of office and on-site employee interaction. The position requires flexibility to align with resort operations, including weekends, holidays, and peak season demands.
