You will ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff during the school day. Facility Maintenance: As a Day Porter, you'll handle general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and floor care in high-traffic areas. Restroom Sanitation: Keep facilities sparkling, stocked, and sanitized throughout your shift. Waste Management: Assist with pulling trash and maintaining a debris-free campus environment. Active Response: As a Janitor, you will stay moving and respond to cleaning needs across the campus as they arise to support a positive learning environment. What You Bring To The Team Experience: 1 year of previous cleaning or custodial experience. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively and a love for staying active (you'll get your steps in!). Reliability: Commitment to the 7:00 AM start time in Huntsville.
