Metrology Specialist- Medical Device Manufacturing (12-hour 2/2/3 Dayshift)

• →Develop and implement dimensional inspection methods and techniques.
• →Perform D.O.E. response dimensional inspections.
• →Conduct dimensional inspections for modified and full First Articles.
• →Perform Gage R&R studies to evaluate measurement system capability.
• →Conduct Capability Studies and analyze results.
• →Review inspection and study results with appropriate personnel.
• →Assist with identifying and resolving metrology and measurement-related issues.
• →Support other quality and dimensional inspection activities as needed.
• →Assist with training and developing Dimensional Inspector Trainees.

• College degree or 4+ years of metrology experience.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and programming.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Commitment to manufacturing safety and quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and work effectively with others.

This position plays an important role in ensuring that manufactured medical components meet dimensional and quality requirements. You’ll work with inspection data, measurement systems, first articles, capability studies, and metrology challenges—while also having the opportunity to share your expertise by helping develop the next generation of dimensional inspectors.
