Responsibilities

→Maintain and oversee the chart of accounts, ensuring accurate financial records and monthly provisions, according to Greek GAAP & IFRS.
→Manage reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
→Support the preparation and submission of monthly & annual tax returns (VAT, WHT, Income Tax etc.).
→Ensure My Data platform compliance.
→Perform the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements in accordance with GAAP (knowledge of IFRS is a plus).
→Support the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors, ensuring smooth completion.
→Liaise with all parties involved in various accounting & tax issues (banks. external consultants etc.).
→Ensure the implementation of company policies, investor requirements, and regulatory standards.
→Participate in the preparation of budget and cash flow.
→Handle ad hoc financial requests across departments.
→Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
→Assist with system enhancements and modifications to improve financial reporting.

Requirements

BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and/or related subjects.
Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification are desirable.
Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience (Big 4 experience is a plus).
Good knowledge of IFRS, Greek GAAP, and Tax Law.
Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written).
Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (Knowledge of the SAP ERP system will be considered an asset).
Organizational skills, track record of meeting deadlines consistently, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset.
