The ideal candidate will ensure all products are produced to specifications and on time. They will ensure the proper inventory control processes are in place to maintain accurate and precise inventory counts. A successful MIP Associate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve goals, provide excellent product suggestions and guidance, and exceed the manager's expectations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Converting raw materials into finished goods in a manner that is consistent with safe food handling practices.
  • Packaging all products created by the company to product specifications set forth by the Production Managers.
  • Coordinate waste disposal as directed by the Production Manager and ensure policies and procedures for waste disposal are adhered to.
  • Ensuring products are properly stored and labeled.
  • Audit and record all weights or counts of all cannabis material given by the Production Lead from start to order completion on the appropriate Control Sheet.
  • Immediately inform Production Lead of any discrepancies in weights or counts.
  • Execute the preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products.
  • Monitor, clean, and maintain all packaging and production equipment, and operate all equipment safely in its intended manner.
  • Complete all orders of products as delegated from the Production Manager in an efficient and timely manner, meeting all necessary deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage daily lab tasks with the Production Manager.
  • Properly set up and operate filling, edible, and solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling equipment.
  • Follow manufacturer's instructions and Company SOPs to sanitize the production area and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all related data in tracking software.
  • Prepare plant material for extraction and accurately document related data.
  • Efficiently fill, package, and label products in compliance with company SOPs and all applicable manufacturing procedures.
  • Set up, break down, and sanitize packaging and production areas as needed and in compliance with Company SOPs.

 

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of necessary math concepts.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to utilize tools/equipment to mechanically repair and arrange parts to a large machine.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions while working at one station for an extended period.
  • Desire to continuously learn more about cannabis, cannabinoids, and the endocannabinoid system. Previous knowledge is a HUGE plus!
  • Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment, and software, including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.

 

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must be able to lift and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and stand for extended periods.
