Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport. 
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping. 
We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process. Drayage is part of a larger logistics process.

Edge Transport is looking for a motivated and experienced Dispatcher to join our team TODAY! You'll be working alongside driven, motivated team members who make coming to work FUN! If you love the Transport Industry and have awesome communication skills along with the ability to multitask then we want to hear from YOU!!

The dispatcher will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of dispatching. Working closely with our Operations team, you will ensure freight is delivered efficently for our valued clients.

• Minimum 2 years experience trucking dispatchexperience is required
• Experience with TMW is required
• Experience and knowledge of Canada shipping regulations and practices.
• Capable of answering supplier distribution emails, customer emails.
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated, results driven and a team player.
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions.
