CAD Drafter

• →Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• →Collaborate and communicate directly with engineers and production staff.
• →Create assemblies and ensure the mechanical fit of all components.
• →Coordinate the proper creation of item types, manufacturability requirements, and bills of materials.
• →Self-check completed assignments and cross-check coworkers' completed assignments.
• →Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure product manufacturability.
• →Select materials and calculate weights and volumes.
• →Generate new designs from concept to completion while considering manufacturability and cost.
• →Support standard products and perform special customer project work.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
• Understanding of drawing standards and tolerancing methods
• Familiarity with machine design details such as threads, nuts, bolts, and welds
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to quickly learn about new products and software
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical
  problems
• Ability to understand blueprint symbols
