About the role
The Gersh Agency in Beverly Hills is seeking a Talent Floater with a minimum of 1 year of related experience in the entertainment industry. Experience at a mainstream talent agency/management company is preferred. The Talent Floater provides a variety of administrative office tasks supporting the Talent department and covers assistant desks while they are away. Talent Floaters receive priority consideration to interview for available assistant roles within the department, so there is excellent opportunity for growth.
Duties
- Provide desk coverage for assistants, as needed.
- Including but not limited to:
- Rolling calls and scheduling meetings.
- Calendar management, expense reports, and travel coordination.
- Generate and schedule auditions as well as coordinate with casting directors, managers, and publicists.
- Draft email correspondence, send submissions, and track incoming/outgoing materials.
- Maintain availability grid and send out submissions for bookings and personal appearances.
- Facilitate client processes, from start to finish.
- Including but not limited to:
- Supporting the build out of talent reels, upon request.
- Updating client resumes
- Filming auditions and reading with clients.
- Clipping select scenes, and submitting client auditions.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Desire to pursue a career as a talent agent.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Willingness to make a 2-year commitment at Gersh.
Compensation
$21/hour + Full Benefits
