The Specialist, Industry Partnerships is an execution and coordination role within THMA's Industry Services team, responsible for supporting the operational delivery of a portfolio of Signature Partnerships and ensuring organizational excellence across the Industry Partnerships function. Reporting to the Managing Director, Industry Partnerships, this role is an operational backbone of the team — maintaining the tools, templates, trackers, and governance infrastructure that partnerships deliver high-quality experiences and value to THMA’s largest partners.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career at the intersection of healthcare and strategic partnerships.
- Serve as the operational hub for the Industry Partnerships team, maintaining shared systems and tools that support consistent, high-quality partnership delivery across the portfolio.
- Support the creation and maintenance of the team's Asana workspace, ensuring partnership workplans, milestones, and deadlines are accurately reflected across the portfolio.
- Maintain and update standardized templates across the partnership lifecycle, including onboarding, briefing documents, meeting agendas, status trackers, and post-event recaps.
- Support assigned high-complexity Signature Partnerships under the direction of the Managing Director, tracking workplan progress and coordinating key activities across the partnership lifecycle.
- For assigned partnerships, own day-to-day execution including materials preparation, partner briefing documents, front-of-room coordination, value delivery tracking, and event logistics.
- Ensure partnership governance is calendared and current for assigned partnerships, including operational calls, steering committees, prep calls, and other recurring touchpoints.
- Identify and flag gaps in team processes or tools and support the development of improved systems in collaboration with senior team members.
- Provide ad hoc problem-solving and general coordination support across the partnership portfolio at the direction of the Managing Director.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, program management, partnerships, healthcare, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms strongly preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
- Proactive and resourceful — anticipates needs and surfaces issues before they become problems.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders with professionalism and reliability.
- Genuine curiosity about healthcare and the dynamics facing health systems and their industry partners.
- Eager to learn and grow within a high-performing partnerships team.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.
