As an Assistant Manager, the role will be responsible for meeting and surpassing individual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the team. - Meet and exceed individual sales targets to contribute to team performance.
- Implement the sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue targets.
- Assist in creating compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Help forecast sales revenue on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
- Contribute to setting pricing models, sales policies, and procedures.
- Analyze market data to identify new sales opportunities and trends.
- Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, rail operators, and other facility users to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide accurate routing information for timely deliveries.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure revenue optimization and minimize leakages.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with the rail logistics industry is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required for business purposes.
