As an Assistant Manager, the role will be responsible for meeting and surpassing individual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the team. Your role will involve delivering the sales strategy, developing proposals, and forecasting sales revenue. Additionally, you will analyze market data, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure efficient operations to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets to contribute to team performance.
  • Implement the sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Assist in creating compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Help forecast sales revenue on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Contribute to setting pricing models, sales policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze market data to identify new sales opportunities and trends.
  • Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, rail operators, and other facility users to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide accurate routing information for timely deliveries.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure revenue optimization and minimize leakages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with the rail logistics industry is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business purposes.
