We are looking for an Environmental Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, planning, advising, investigating, inspecting, recording, and reporting on all HSE issues within our operations. You will play a pivotal role in driving energy reduction and decarbonization initiatives, ensuring strict compliance with legal frameworks and industry regulations, and managing communication with relevant government agencies on environmental issues.
Responsibilities

- →Ensure full compliance with national/international legal requirements and industry regulations.
- →Manage, maintain, and support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- →Prepare, manage, and monitor the HSE and environmental budgets efficiently.
- →Manage the environmental aspect-impact assessments of the company and ongoing projects.
- →Coordinate emergency response and crisis management processes.
- →Oversee, update, and implement environmental plans, procedures, and relevant documentation.
- →Coordinate and manage internal and external HSE audits and field inspections.
- →Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of an integrated waste management system.
- →Manage and implement site-specific HSE protocols, including Spill Response Contingency Plans, waste loading, and transportation methods.
- →Design systems, processes, and equipment for the control and improvement of environmental noise, water, air, and soil quality.
- →Plan, develop, and deliver comprehensive environmental and sustainability trainings to employees.
- →Prepare, update, monitor, and execute company-wide decarbonization and energy reduction plans.
- →Manage and implement IMDG Code requirements across relevant operations.
- →Investigate HSE incidents, perform root-cause analysis, report findings, and recommend robust mitigation plans.
- →Lead, engage, and develop direct/indirect reports by aligning team performance with SMART goals and objectives
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE Management (preferably within multicultural environments).
- Valid Environmental Officer Certificate is required.
- Minimum C Class Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate is required (NEBOSH IGC is a strong advantage).
- Fluency in both written and spoken Turkish and English with exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for root-cause analysis and finding innovative solutions.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently under limited guidance.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills; quick learner who can think on their feet.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Strictly considers and protects the confidentiality of company data at all times.
- Class B driving license with active driving ability.
- Flexibility to travel globally (approx. 10–20%) to perform site audits across our operations.
