Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist

We are looking for an Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist to join our team and work with us in Sarıyer, Istanbul.

• →Guide customers to the most suitable service based on their requests,
• →Provide quick and effective solutions to pricing-related issues to ensure high customer satisfaction,
• →Accurately, effectively, and promptly price freight requests received from sales teams, overseas agents, and customers,
• →Prepare necessary documents for tender participation,
• →Work on alternative service solutions for requests received by the ocean freight department,
• →Utilize the infrastructure to obtain accurate and effective freight quotations from carriers, shipping agents, co-loaders, and inland transport companies in line with the company’s service requirements,
• →Create and regularly update a list of daily quotations,
• →Share weekly quotation reports, including number and details, with the department manager,
• →Maximize the use of special freight rates and promotions provided to the company and guide the sales teams accordingly,
• →Conduct regular meetings with carriers, shipping agents, and co-loaders in line with the company’s objectives.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in relevant fields,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight operations,
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight regulations and international trade law,
• Familiarity with logistics and maritime transportation processes,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel),
• Preferably good command of written and spoken English,
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills,

• Residing in Istanbul or willing to relocate,
