What We Offer

✓Follows policies and practices to ensure consistency with current standards promulgated by appropriate local, state, and federal regulatory bodies and within limits of the respective State Nurse Practice Act.
✓Is competent in acting in emergency situations based on Safety Manual, Internal and External Emergency Preparedness and other policies.
✓Complies with Mather Code of Conduct, Policies, Compliance Program, and all applicable laws and regulations in performance of one’s job duties; reports all known and suspected violations to his/her supervisor or manager, Mather Compliance officer, a Human Resources representative, or the confidential employee helpline.
✓Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.
✓Assesses each resident’s physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, cultural, educational and discharge planning needs, as appropriate.
✓Participates in the establishment of desired outcomes with resident, family, and interdisciplinary team.
✓Participates in the development of a care plan/service plan.
✓Delegates tasks based on resident need and according to knowledge and skill of the designated caregiver.
✓Performs personal care for residents, as needed, i.e. toileting, bathing, etc.
✓Documents nursing care per documentation policy and standards.
✓Applies the concepts of the Mather Wellness Model and the 3 A’s in the care of residents, Achievement, Autonomy, and Affiliation.
✓Assists in licensing and survey preparedness and processes.
✓Uses a customer-focused approach to problem solving philosophy.
✓Maintains a courteous and professional manner through interactions with others.
✓Communicates with residents and families in a timely manner.
✓Uses discretion in handling confidential information, incorporating all Federal, State and local privacy and confidentiality requirements.
✓Provides input for all relevant human resource functions including but not limited to: hiring and retention.
✓Responsible for upholding resident rights.
✓Participates in resident and family education and counseling.
✓Interactions with employees, residents, resident representatives, and guests will reflect our commitment to inclusivity.

✓Create exceptional experiences for internal and external customers in every interaction.

Requirements

Required:

  • Current state RN license.
  • Good clinical assessment skills and technical knowledge.
  • CPR/AED certification

Preferred:

  • 1+ years' experience in skilled Nursing setting.
  • Supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
Hourly Pay Range
$38—$42 USD

The Mather includes 240 independent living apartment homes, as well as assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and rehabilitation services, along with multiple restaurants, a fitness center, art studio, gardens, and more.
