The Staff Pad is partnering with Russellville Hospital located in Russellville, AL, to hire a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant - ICU. Position Overview As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and providing hands-on care to patients of all ages. Your dedication will help ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Shift: Nights What You’ll Do Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility Monitor and document vital signs, height, weight, and other patient information Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges Help serve meals and assist with documenting nutritional intake Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment Observe and report changes in patient conditions to the RN Collect and transport specimens following established procedures Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and comfort care Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients across all age groups What We Are Looking For Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience) Previous CNA experience preferred, but not required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment An Ideal Candidate demonstrates: A genuine passion for patient care Reliability and strong attention to detail The ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in emergency situations Commitment to patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality Ability to assist with patient movement (up to 100+ lbs with support) Flexibility to adapt in a busy healthcare setting What You Can Expect Supportive and collaborative workplace culture Meaningful opportunity to positively impact patients and families Career growth and professional development opportunities within healthcare Work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals who value teamwork and compassion Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Exposure to clinical environments and potential biohazards If you are a caring and motivated CNA ready to advance your career in a rewarding hospital environment, we encourage you to apply today!
