The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA to find an experienced Echo Ultrasound Technologist. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographer who is passionate about patient care and diagnostic excellence. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging exams, including but not limited to cardiac, vascular, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts imaging. Special procedures such as biopsies may also be required. Schedule: PRN | Days What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Perform echocardiograms and ultrasound exams and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation Maintain a clean, sterile environment and properly manage ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety protocols Transport patients to and from the exam room safely, while using proper body mechanics Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and understanding Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure that studies are accurately documented Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as required What We Are Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise sufficient to meet department standards ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty, or registry-eligible (must achieve certification within one year of hire) CPR certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire if not already current) 1+ year of hospital-based experience preferred Additional Skills and Attributes Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and function under stress Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally walking or bending What You Can Expect Exceptional patient care starts with a team that feels valued, supported, and empowered - backed by comprehensive compensation and benefits every step of the way Benefits Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, Life & AD&D Insurance Retirement Plans PTO, Leave of Absence Maternity/Disability Leave Flexible Spending Account If you are a compassionate and driven ultrasound technologist looking for a rewarding position, we invite you to apply!
