Quick Summary

Overview

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (New York) Tia is a full-stack women's healthcare business that builds products, tools and clinical services virtually and in person to help every woman be her own patient advocate and get meaningfully better healthcare.

Technical Tools
ab-testing

Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people rather than as separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, and wellness across in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes and creating a better experience for patients and providers.

Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women by increasing access, improving outcomes, and delivering a better care experience. Our “Whole Woman, Whole Life” model integrates primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person care and a national virtual platform.

We are a Series D, venture-backed company trusted by more than 120,000 women across four markets. Through our technology-enabled care model and partnerships with leading health systems, Tia is building one of the most comprehensive preventive care models for women.

About the Role

~1 min read

We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive, in-person care at our Williamsburg or SoHo clinics.

Our primary need for this role is additional primary care capacity. We are seeking either:

  • A primary care provider who is experienced in caring for women across the lifespan
  • A broadly trained provider who can independently manage both primary care and gynecologic visits

Your patient mix will reflect your training and clinical experience. Primary care providers will focus primarily on preventive, acute, and chronic primary care needs. Providers who are fully trained across both primary care and gynecology may care for patients across Tia’s broader range of visit types.

This is an ideal opportunity for a provider who values whole-person care and wants to work within an integrated model where primary care, gynecology, mental health, and wellness are closely connected.

  • Protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration
  • AI-supported documentation designed to reduce charting burden
  • Beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics
  • Quarterly bonus and equity
  • The opportunity to help shape a new model for women’s healthcare
  • A multidisciplinary model supporting coordinated in-person and virtual care

Responsibilities

Based on your experience, training, and clinical scope, you may:

  • Provide preventive and problem-based primary care, including annual wellness visits, chronic condition management, acute concerns, health screenings, and preventive counseling
  • Evaluate and manage common outpatient conditions affecting women across different life stages
  • Address behavioral health, sexual health, reproductive health, and other whole-person care needs within scope
  • Provide gynecologic and reproductive healthcare if you have the appropriate training and experience, including annual exams, contraception, STI care, cervical cancer screening follow-up, pregnancy confirmation, and pregnancy-options counseling
  • Evaluate and manage women’s health concerns within your scope, which may include menopause and perimenopause, PCOS, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, sexual wellness, and vaginal, vulvar, urinary, or genital symptoms
  • Perform physical examinations, specimen collection, testing, and procedures within your training, licensure, credentialing, and Tia’s clinical scope
  • Recognize when patients need laboratory testing, imaging, specialty referral, procedural care, or a higher level of care
  • Review results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, operations, and clinical leadership
  • Use technology, data, and clinical protocols to support high-quality, evidence-based care

  • Active New York NP or PA license

  • Experience independently managing preventive care, acute concerns, and common chronic conditions

  • Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
  • Comfort working within a collaborative, technology-enabled care model

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Adult or family primary care
  • Primary care for women across the lifespan
  • Integrated primary care and gynecology
  • Preventive health and chronic condition management
  • Reproductive or sexual health
  • Menopause and perimenopause care
