~1 min read- →Administer ionizing radiation to patients according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans.
- →Perform CT simulations and daily treatment setups with precision and care.
- →Assist with clinical and emergency simulations and pre-treatment procedures.
- →Collaborate closely with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and other care team members.
- →Monitor and assess patients' condition and treatment response.
- →Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and quality standards.
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy program Required
- Minimum two year experience Preferred
- Good interpersonal/human relations skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations and unpleasant elements
- Ability to work with hazardous materials and wear protective clothing
- Ability to operate a personal computer.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the unique care needs for patients across all age groups.
- Registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy Required
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) upon ARRT certification Required
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association within 30 Days Required
