About the Role

~1 min read

The HR Coordinator will work alongside the HR Business Partner on executing a wide range of HR activities, including employee onboarding and offboarding, recruiting coordination, HR reporting, and compliance support. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for HR-related questions and support initiatives that enhance the employee experience. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Execute full-cycle recruiting coordination: post job openings, review resumes, conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates across multiple concurrent searches
  • Help coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes — new hire paperwork, account/equipment setup coordination, orientation scheduling, and system terminations/equipment retrieval for departing team members
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, including periodic audits
  • Support the HRBP with day-to-day HR administration, including compliance tracking, leave administration, reporting, and ad hoc projects
  • Support HR-led programs and initiatives — including training rollouts and the performance management cycle
  • Support employee culture and engagement initiatives — event coordination, recognition program logistics, and communications
  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related questions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven success in building relationships and trust
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment
  • Adaptability; processes and workflows may change as we look to improve both the customer experience and your experience as a member of the team

Requirements

~1 min read
  • Bachelor's degree required; coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of HR experience (recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR administration, or similar)
  • Experience handling confidential information (compensation, medical leave, performance, terminations) with discretion
  • High-speed Wi-Fi connection
  • Ability to work EST, CST, MST, or PST hours
  • Remote position
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities across different stakeholders without missing deadlines
  • Experience communicating HR information clearly to different audiences — new hires, employees, managers, and leadership
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Working familiarity with employment law fundamentals — enough to recognize when an issue should be escalated, not full expertise
  • Exposure to compliance-related HR tasks (e.g., I-9s, leave tracking, recordkeeping requirements)

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $50,000–$65,000 per year, based on experience. This is a good-faith estimate of the pay range Tires-Easy reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of hire. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and location.
