Quality Engineering Internship

Join our Team as a Quality Engineering Intern!

We’re seeking a motivated intern to join our team in Summer 2027! This internship offers hands-on experience in operations, where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into Toyota Production System (TPS) principles, continuous improvement (Kaizen), and root-cause analysis to ensure world class quality. You’ll collaborate with the Quality team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

• →Serve as a strategic bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear IT deliverables to update Toyota’s Supplier Portal
• →Partner with cross-functional teams – including Production & Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain – to track and reduce repeat quality defects
• →Coordinate closely with Quality Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers to support customer resolution and supplier development
• →Participate in customer and/or supplier visits.

• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in engineering (industrial, mechanical, or similar)
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Columbus, IN, for the duration of the Summer 2027 internship

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Fosters strong, collaborative partnerships across departments to promote shared accountability and achieve unified project goals

• This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, IN office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
