Position Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to support daily store and warehouse operations. This role will assist customers, maintain store organization, support inventory restocking efforts, and help create a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and enjoys interacting with customers in a hands-on environment. This individual should be comfortable performing physical tasks, maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, and supporting operational needs as they arise.
Location: Linden, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am – 4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am – 1:00pm; Sunday, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Employment Type: Full Time, On Site
Compensation: $16.00 – $19.00 USD per hour
Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout the store
Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product-related questions
Help load heavy items and materials into customer vehicles safely and efficiently
Restock shelves and maintain inventory organization by retrieving products from the warehouse as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including common areas, floors, bathrooms, and customer spaces
Support overall store presentation to ensure a welcoming and professional environment
Learn product information and store inventory to better assist customers and support sales efforts
Communicate effectively with team members to support daily operational needs
Assist with additional store, warehouse, and operational responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Prior retail, warehouse, customer service, or store support experience preferred
Basic English communication skills required
Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented personality
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as needed throughout the workday
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
Positive attitude with a dependable and strong work ethic
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
